Things to Do in Las Vegas With Friends

It is, surely, one of the places with more nicknames of the world. Known as the city of gambling, entertainment or sin, Las Vegas is one of the most visited destinations on the planet. If you want to disconnect from everything and have fun, Las Vegas offers fun, madness and frikismo equally.

Like that of marrying the groom dressed Marilyn and the bride dressed Elvis is already very busy, I will take these lines to share some tips of those who do not appear in the movies. So here are some plans for those who travel with a full portfolio and for those who go "pelaos":

Walk The Strip : one of the most famous and filmed streets in the world. More than 6 km full of the best accommodations, casinos, restaurants and shops. I recommend you visit it at night. Just to see the free shows offered by the hotels and the lights of the casinos, it's worth it.

Visit the lobbies of the hotels : they are all spectacular, but it would take you a lifetime to visit them, so I am going to recommend the ones that seemed most impressive: Bellagio, Caesars Palace, MGM Grand Las Vegas, Excalibur, Wynn, The Venetian, Cosmopolitan and Luxor

Viva Vision Light Show - Fremont Street Experience : formed by a vault of almost 30 meters high with more than 12 million LED lights is the largest screen in the world. This 6-minute light show starts every hour from dusk to midnight. Not only is it one of the best shows in Las Vegas, but it's totally free!

Treasure Island show : theater with dances, sword fights, pirates and beautiful mermaids. Ideal if you go with children. They do it every day from 7 pm (in summer and winter there are special sessions at 5:30 pm and 11:30 pm respectively). I recommend going half an hour before if you want to take a good place as it is always full.

The Fountains of Bellagio : there is nothing more beautiful than watching the water dance to the sound of music. Although you have seen it in a thousand films and reports, I had to name it because it is one of the best attractions in Las Vegas. It is every quarter of an hour from 3:00 pm until midnight.

Visit Downtown : it is the oldest part and although it is not the most remarkable part of the city, it has its point to see the place where Las Vegas arose and the typical atmosphere of the 50's. Here is also the Freemont Street Experience.

Cirque du Soleil shows : Las Vegas is the place with more permanent shows of Cirque du Soleil . As I am an unconditional fan and I have seen several, I will tell you that, according to the most versed, "O" and "One" by Michael Jackson are probably, the best.

The High Roller : or what is the same, the biggest wheel in the world. With almost 170 meters of height it has 28 cabins for about 40 people each so you can enjoy unique views. The trip lasts 30 minutes and costs $ 25 during the day and 10 more at night.

Visit to the Grand Canyon : one of the favorite attractions for tourists. Although there are many companies that offer this tour, both in small planes and helicopters, I recommend doing it by helicopter. This will give you the possibility to land inside the Grand Canyon and even, if you decide that the experience is totally VIP, you can choose the option with picnic and champagne.

Visit to the Hoover Dam : At 221 meters, it is one of the largest dams on the planet and supplies three states with light. You can visit it from 9 am to 6 pm and the price is about $ 30.

The Gun Store : a shooting gallery where, with the help of an instructor, you can shoot any weapon you can imagine. Although it is a very safe activity, there are several logical rules that you must meet: it is not suitable for children under 18 years old, it is not suitable for pregnant women and of course, you must go sober and understand basic instructions in English. The price is based on the weapons you choose. Do not you think that last sentence is incredible?

Las Vegas Motor Speedway : Maserati, Ferrari, Lamborghini ... you choose. In this circuit you can drive the car of your dreams at full speed. The only downside is that it will cost about € 270.

Outlets : if you like shopping, do not miss Las Vegas Premium Outlets (at the Caesar Palace) and Las Vegas Outlets Center (on the Strip). You will find clothes of the most known brands at very interesting prices. Also, if you want to spend the day there, in both you can find many fast food options.

Fun : besides the casinos, all the hotels have parties entertained by the best DJs in the world. You can check the dates of each event on their websites, depending on the time of year you are going. The best clubs are: Hakkasan, Studio 54 (at the MGM hotel) and Xs (at the Encore hotel).
