Book Review: Love Story? Seriously! by Shivi Pandey

Love Story? Seriously! by Shivi Pandey brought to life a deep and intense feeling where love is the most beautiful thing can exist in this world and the author is really good at describing the various faces of a love born between different characters and the pain that it can bring for falling in love.

In the dynamics of communal life it is established the classic conflicts and complicity of coexistence among people who do not know each other before, Samar takes you on an amazing voyage of his life as he recalls his friends and all his unsuccessful love interests with Sapna, Samriddhi and Surbhi and then settling down with Shrija.

Samar inevitably merges into a feeling that ends up in turn by confounding him and our lives. It is true, the whole book revolves around looking for a girl who can love and be loved by Samar.  And besides, this game of feelings that confuses and refuses to stay in place, where our reason would like to sell them, is not the same that guides the relationship.

The book revolves around the hesitations and uncertainties of the protagonists, who are most often the collective entity. The idea of the narrative seems to break up into a series of reports between and individual who is so looking or waiting for a love, but which, in reality, predominantly gets involved in establishing a network of interpersonal relationships marked not by feelings but mostly by sentiments of friendship which eventually prevail over those more specifically amorous.

The characters are well defined both in the dialogues that in intimate considerations and love was treated with great delicacy to the point of losing its connotation and blend into a feeling between two people, a thousand doubts, a thousand uncertainties, and exploded with a shattering intensity.

The author deal with love and life so delicately, with so much love, and so much feeling that gives strength to the novel that is well written and involves the analysis of the feelings that take the reader and take him to a world unknown or perhaps very well known in a beautiful book very well written, with detailed and intense dialogues.

The writer can see that passion and any other shade of it. In the novel you can see many sides of passion, love, despair and fear. For the duration of the novel there is a great development and change of the characters. The romance between the protagonists as it is very short, but very intense.

The dialogues between the characters, deserve a careful reading that perhaps only the screenplays of the films allow us to fully appreciate which end up muddying the waters, putting in some way that affects not only the idea of a clear boundary between friendship and love, as that love is more important than friendship.
