Book Review: Love on 3 Wheels: Anurag Anand

Love on 3 Wheels by Anurag Anand  is a chronicle of love, desire, aspirations along with deception that unfolds over a period of three days, propelling those in its centre into an oblivious whirl.

This is a book full of characters from a young and ambitious working girl Sargam, to an auto rickshaw driver Sharib Sheikh, to a divorced prominent doctor Dr. Abhigyan Kukreti, to a simple village girl, Ameena, and a swindler Junaid, who are always struggling with instincts, passions, transgression, and fatality. From here will start a series of twists and turns that will lead the reader to get passionate more and more to the story until the inevitable twist.

The topics are many from the class bias, as it can be strong even when an alliance is based on wrong principles, love at first sight, that shakes you so strong, that makes you feel butterflies in the stomach, and makes you afraid and at the same time reassures you; the importance of being yourself where you are free to express taking advantage of a passion that comes from within, from the heart, as well as love.

The author puts at the centre of his reflection the game of life, and the complex rules which take turns at playing the instincts, feelings, consciousness, reasoning, our identity. The book consists of chapters perhaps more narrative and passionate on the sense of the experience, and therefore of life because all of us are taking a trip, but only some people face that journey with the right awareness as we are all soul pilgrims.

The moments, narratives, meetings, reminders, are always supported by an endless tension but able to open, more than ever, the passions and impulses, and even melancholy where love, challenge, destiny is a journey inside and outside of us, with the discovery of the self and the other, led by an ego that is the only possible witness with a direct experience.

The author has been able to churn out an intriguing and romantic book, without forgetting the suspense of the fantasy genre. One thing likeable in this novel in addition to the numerous points of view was the endless curiosity aroused which was spot-on to get fully immersed in the atmosphere to spend hours in the company of a book that mixes and blends well with each other suspense, love and romance.

A story that exudes love on every page with the author uses a sliding style and the more you are thirsty to know, to discover, to understand, despite the linear structure of the plot to experience different emotions during the adventure.

The novel is written perfectly as the language is fresh and smooth, the dialogues are sweet, or concise, or happy or sad, that always leaves in a different emotion with a tumult of emotions and different feelings for a story that leaves its mark. The characters are out of the ordinary, who does not mix the mass but are proud of their ways of being and of their choices and are outlined very well, and you can live most of their emotions thanks to them.

Thrilling and exciting, romantic, funny and sometimes heartbreaking and self-contained, the book is intriguing, particularly, romantic and elegant and finally one that is different from the crowd, really pleasant and apt and not one of those interminable sagas where we can never reach an end.
