Kaju Katli, a sweet little diamond-shaped sweet has many variations and recipes, but still very sweet (all Indian sweets are definitely sweet) and delicious. Among the ingredients appear the leaves of silver, it is really thin sheets of pure silver that you can find in specialty stores in India, but you can omit them without problem and decorate using almonds and pistachios, the sweets will be good all the same.
2 cups milk powder
2 cups cream
2 cups condensed milk
1 tsp cardamom powder
1 cup pistachios
Sugar, as required
Mix the milk powder, milk, cardamom and the cream in a microwave safe bowl and whisk until smooth.
Put the bowl in the microwave and set the time for 10 minutes on High. Take out the bowl and stir in between thrice.
Add the sugar. Microwave for 2 minutes.
Sprinkle the chopped nuts over the surface and rest for 10 minutes.
Remove from the microwave and cut into diagonal or square shapes. Serve immediately.
