Apple Cinnamon Ice-cream Recipe

1 tsp butter
1 cup cream
4 cups milk
1 cup cream
1 tsp vanilla
2 green apples
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp sugar
Sauté apples in butter in a skillet, along with cinnamon and sugar until tender and caramelized. When they’re starting to come apart easily transfer the lot into a blender and blend until smooth. Cool the apple sauce.
Combine the milk, cream, eggs and vanilla in a bowl. Once the apples are cool, stir them into the cream mix.
Pour the mixture into an aluminium vessel, cover it and place in the freezer for 4 hours. Once the mixture has set, remove from the freezer and blend in a mixer till it is smooth.
Pour the mixture into the same vessel, cover and place it in the freezer again till it sets. Just before serving, place the scoops of ice-cream in individual bowls.
Drizzle with homemade caramel sauce and serve immediately garnished with apples.
