This is the classic recipe for lemonade that we can prepare at home. It does not contain alcohol. It can be the basis for many cocktails on offer. We can also keep up to 20 days in a closed bottle.
Lemon Juice Punch
Prep Time: 30 mins ♥ Cook Time: 20 mins ♥ Total Time: 50 mins ♥ Yield: 4 servings
1 cup sugar
6 fresh lemons
4 cups water
1. Make syrup by heating sugar and a cup water in a saucepan until sugar is dissolved.
2. Extract the juice from lemons, enough for one cup of juice.
3. Add the juice and sugar water to a pitcher. Add 3 cups of cold water, more or less to the desired strength. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Serve with ice, sliced lemons.
