Sui Dhaaga - Anushka and Varun Come Together

It seems that Yash Raj Films is in a period of big releases. After the official announcement of Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar by Dibakar Banerjee with Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor, a new film by the production company has just announced.

Entitled Sui Dhaaga, the film will bring together Anushka Sharma and Varun Dhawan, a young couple never seen on screen.

Regarded as the number one actress of the current Indian industry, Anushka Sharma once again signs a very interesting and promising project. Varun Dhawan also confirms that he is gaining more and more importance among the younger generation.

Sui Dhaaga will be produced by Maneesh Sharma and directed by Sharat Katariya, who got the surprise success Dum Laga Ke Haisha by tackling prejudices around obesity in India. It won the National Award for Best Film in Hindi. This time again it seems that the film is based on rural India in a rather realistic context.

This story has its roots in the heart of India and reflects the passion that flows through the veins of every Indian. Sui Dhaaga is a story that will resonate in every one of us, said Maneesh Sharma.

Not really enough to tell us more about the content of the scenario but Sharat Katariya said he had to wait for a good story before returning to the shoot. Let us hope that Sui Dhaaga fulfills all his promises! Films with local flavors that focus on human emotions work best in India lately. The project seems to fit perfectly with this demand from the public.

Note that the producers seem very confident since they have already reserved the holiday of Gandhi Jayanti for its release next year. Filming will start in January 2018. With this potential solo outing over a period of partial vacations, Varun Dhawan confirms that the new generation wants to give itself the means of its ambition.

It should be noted that apart from Baahubali 2, it is indeed Badrinath Ki Dulhania that made the most box office profits compared to budgets in the first half of 2017, ahead of Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan, Akshay Kumar and Hrithik Roshan.

For her part, Anushka Sharma had a moderate success with Phillauri but currently, focuses on Jab Harry Met Sejal. The actress will also play a secondary role in Rajkumar Hirani's biopic Dutt, which is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated films of next year.

In short, with a Jodi of young talented and ambitious stars, what more could you ask for Sui Dhaaga?
