Ford Mustang is proposing a facelift in the 2018 model. On the one hand, as we can see from the photos, the car look has been updated with new distinctive details, but the most important changes are inside. The Mustang infact have a new digital instrument panel with a 12-inch customizable infotainment system Sync 3 with FordPass so you can open, close and start the car directly from a smartphone app. The car now presents the Pre-Collision Assist with pedestrian detection for maximum safety through independent braking in case of danger.

Besides that among the major novelty, we note the adoption of a new 10-speed automatic transmission that allows the Ford Mustang to improve its performance while lowering power consumption. Ford also updated the engine to V8 5.0 liters, one of the symbols of this car, which now has a new direct injection system with dual fuel high and low pressure, so as to have more torque in the lower and greater efficiency.

For those who prefer a manual gearbox, the six-speed transmission has been completely redesigned and now boasts a twin-disc clutch and a dual-mass flywheel, resulting in a greater driving pleasure, improved controllability of friction and fuel consumption.

In the range is confirmed, invariably, even the 2.3-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost. In this case Ford worked up, improving the torque at full load and making the engine more smooth and efficient. At customer demand are also available suspension with adaptive shock absorbers magnetorheological Magneride that allow you to raise the levels of comfort and sportiness of the car.

The 2018 Mustang will be unveiled soon. The car is on sale now from 2014 and it is now time for a slight restyling. In the videos leaked on the internet, it could be the official footage of the new car. Nothing is confirmed but, according to what we can see from the videos, the facelift of the Ford Mustang will not introduce in range big novelties from the aesthetic point of view.

The front features a new bumper, headlights slightly restyled, and a few changes of detail at the back. The bumpers are more taut with sharp lines, while on the bonnet will debut new veins and probable air vents. Unpublished also the rear spoiler of the Ford Mustang GT with a dual center support and a design that follows the lines of the tail.
