The Intelligent Investor

Many people wish to understand how to change their lives and live happier existences, but change is a complex subject and if you, like me, feel the need to implement it, need to know the aspects on which to work. To achieve happiness we each must first establish the things that prevent us from being happy and secondly implement the right strategies to remove these barriers.

The change always starts from the inside and affects the way we understand reality and interpret events. You can see a few examples here in #JanoTohMano website.

Time is the greatest asset we have, not only because money can never buy time, but above all because the mechanism of consumerism takes no time, in order to prevent us from thinking about things and acting on instinct, consuming and wasting as much as possible.

For time we must first stop doing unnecessary things, like forwarding SMSes for good fortune and wasting time on activities that do not improve our psychological condition.

The stories of the greatest entrepreneurs who have made courageous choices with brilliant insights that have dramatically changed consumer habits are many. These are entrepreneurs who can be called "explorers", because they discovered virgin territories creating new "civilizations". They dug where no one thought there was oil.

You cannot just do something that goes against the common thought to have luck. It would be too easy. You have to serve smart and intelligent choices, accompanied by a good dose of courage, to do them when no one believes.

The stage of research and development of new products is certainly among these choices, because investing in a new product is a big question mark. No one has been able to make the right moves to reap rewards, with always following the same line of thought.

In 1951 Tetra Pak was created for undifferentiated market with a product like milk. The packaging, in this case in particular, was the real element that allowed the exploration and conquest of new markets by its users. Soon it was copied by all the competitors in this choice.

At the base of exploration and conquest in history as in the market there is always a great ability to see beyond appearances, beyond common sense of things, beyond the competitors. For us to see "beyond" means is seeing with the eyes of the consumer, reposition our considerations from his point of view and at its height - the height of the shelf. Just looking at things from this point of view it is possible to reach new lands and make new achievements!

In life you have to have something extra, a brilliant idea, and a stroke of luck, the ability to do something before and better than the others. Here are some ways to go look for small savings, additional income or, at best, a real breakthrough.

Be wary of those who promise "miraculous methods" or "infallible recipe" to make money quickly, especially on the phone and the Internet. The modern smartphone world is a great showcase and an opportunity for growth and visibility. But to believe this to use it as a multiplier of money runs a risk.

It is also true, though, that sometimes the gains are within reach. Sure, you have to have something extra. We tried to trace some way to go to look for additional income or, at best, a change of life while many people are living by trading and exporting local products like wine and tea.

More and more people consider the online trading a second job. Earning foreign exchange can be a risky investment, but with large windows of profitability. We have to study hard techniques, as for any other activity. But you can train without risk, because most brokers let you do a trial period without real money by opening a demo account that allows simulations, before putting "real money".

An economic and financial background is preferable, but not essential. When you feel ready, you can start with a small capital of a few thousand rupees. Experts recommend avoiding small markets, focus on the big ones and put a cap on the risk. Always look for new opportunities. When a deal is in the headlines, it is already late to take action.

If you are tech savvy, developing an innovative app can allow you to make the big leap as inventing something new, useful and original. The iPhone and Android mania just goes on increasing. Half of the users give the assault at the Google and Apple store, in order to procure all imaginable applications from games to useful services, from recipes, entertainment to reminder apps. So developing a good paid app can be a good source of revenue.

Life annuity is the dream of many and privilege of a few where you can bring home a safe paycheck without lifting a finger and have a certain income, in the absence of paid employment.

The time then should be dedicated exclusively to those activities to enable us to live happily and using it to earn more money than we really need to live, is a senseless waste, especially if this money is then spent on unnecessary items, which do not help us to be happy and change our lives.

The work should be a means and not an end that allow self-reliance without imprisonment for life. For this reason it is important to work as little as possible, without stress and with profit, in order to earn just enough to live, completely eliminating waste.

Egg curry in India is known as Anda Curry that is a very simple recipe and is very popular with children. Perfect for lovers of hardboiled eggs, the spicy curry enhances the flavor. In this dish, the hard-boiled eggs are stir fried and then added to a sauce. It is served over steamed rice in India. Eggs can be added to any type of sauce you like. This week I propose a curry eggs, a dish I wanted to replicate for some time after I had tasted the homemade version prepared by a friend. When I announced that dinner was planned with a curry of eggs it unexpectedly cause generalized reactions of astonishment. And so I realized that it has taken for granted that everyone to know that there are several varieties of curry, not only as regards the main ingredient, but also for the combination of spices and flavor to be obtained. So I decided to make a brief discussion on the curry to have some clarity on the subject.

An Italian Meal with my friend at Da Mauro

As I walked down the street, distracted by my thoughts and my memories, the smell from a nearby pizza shop invaded my senses and immediately my mind was transported to a recent visit to an expat friend's house. My friend, John lives in Central Park Resorts at the heart of Gurgaon. I'm not a huge fan of Gurgaon given the dusty roads, pollution, bad traffic and civic sense, but Central Park Resorts is another world in itself - an ample green environment with the usual facilities like amphitheatre, gym, spa, kids play area etc. But two things really caught my eye - the town-ship is automobile free and golf buggies are used to commute on surface. That sounds downright futuristic and something only the millionaires could afford, right? But there it was, right in front of my eyes in Gurgaon! Well, the future is really here I guess.

But what really got to me is the second thing - something situated inside the Central Park Resorts township. Read on:

Mysore Pak Recipe

The Mysore Pak is an Indian dessert originating in the state of Karnataka in southern India, but it is widely consumed throughout peninsular India and especially Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala. There are 2 ways to prepare it, soft or more solid, with generous amounts of melted butter or ghee, chickpea flour and sugar. Of course people prepare these delicacies especially for the feast of Diwali, the festival of lights.

The mysore pak was originally known as masoor pak, and was made with masoor dal flour. The exact origin of the recipe is unknown, although some claim that it was created in or near the Mysore Palace by a cook raised in the Kakasura Madappa. Its history dates back to, probably sometime in the 17th or 18th century Mysore, where during the reign of King Krishna Raja Wadiyar IV, the recipe was invented in the kitchens of the palace by the chef Kakasura Madappa. Having no idea for his creation, Madappa decided to call the recipe Mysore Pak, which means in Sanskrit and…
