Maruti Suzuki presents India's Ertiga, an unusual variant of the MPV Suzuki Swift, which results in the floor with a wheelbase of 2.73 meters, 4.2 meters long, takes up headlights and part of the bridge from the Swift, while all other components are new, and a rather massive volume rear to maximize interior space and luggage space.
Features. Despite its compact dimensions, the interior has seven seats in three rows and a double air-conditioning system. When all the seats are occupied the trunk offers a reduced capacity, but there is the possibility of folding the third row into the floor to expand cargo volume.
Engines. Besides the already known 1.3 Multijet source Fiat , version 85 bhp and 200 Nm of torque, the Ertiga offers a brand new 1.4-liter VVT petrol 95 bhp and 130 Nm of torque. Besides India, the Suzuki has planned to export to Indonesia and other Asian nations, while there is no information about a possible launch in Europe, where it would fit in the interesting of the compact MPV segment.
